How to change payment terminal settings

Each payment terminal has its own settings. Open the settings from the terminal list.

Open the terminal settings

Go to Hardware → Terminals.
Click the terminal.
Open Terminal settings.

Change the terminal name

Device name: The name shown in your terminal list.
Tap to Pay display name: The name the guest sees during a Tap to Pay payment.

Set the terminal language

Choose a primary and a secondary language for the terminal screen. Guests can then see the terminal in their own language.

Add a logo to receipts

Upload a logo to print at the top of receipts from the terminal. You can remove the logo again at any time.

Print company information on receipts

Turn on the legal information setting to print your company information on receipts from the terminal.

Choose which receipts the terminal prints

Select the receipt types the terminal prints, for example merchant receipts for approved and declined payments. Remove a receipt type to stop printing it.

Remove a terminal

Removing a terminal unpairs it from your venue. The terminal stops taking payments and no longer appears in reports.

Open the terminal settings.
Select Remove terminal.
Confirm.
