How to add a payment terminal

Pair a new Superb card terminal with your venue using the serial number.

A payment terminal must be added to your venue before it can take card payments. Superb terminals are the Superb S1, Superb AMS1 and Superb S1E2L.

What you need

  • The terminal's serial number
  • Access to Partner

Add a Superb terminal

  1. Log in to Partner at partner.superbexperience.com.
  2. Go to Hardware → Terminals.
  3. Click Add terminal.
  4. Choose the terminal model: Superb S1, Superb AMS1 or Superb S1E2L.
  5. Enter the serial number of the terminal.
  6. Save. The terminal is activated for your venue.

You can also add a terminal from Settings → Payment → Terminal assigned → Add terminal.

Check that the terminal is connected

The terminal list shows a status for each terminal: connected or disconnected. A disconnected terminal cannot take payments. Check the power and the network connection of a disconnected terminal.

Add a PAX terminal

PAX terminals use a different payment connection than Superb terminals. Contact Superb support before you add a PAX terminal, so your account can be prepared.

  1. Go to Hardware → Terminals → Add terminal → PAX.
  2. Follow the steps on the screen to register the device.
  3. Make a small test payment before you use the terminal in service.
